Naman Lakhani

President

Naman is a Senior at the Gabelli School of Business and is from Long Island. He has had a passion for baseball, basketball, and football ever since he was little and is one of the biggest Yankee fans you will ever meet. He has always been interested in looking at the game from an analytical perspective to understand it at a deeper level. Naman has worked with the Fordham Baseball Analytics Team and is excited to implement several years of researching and exploring advanced analytics for MLB players as a passion. Being part of a sports analytics club is like a dream come true for him!

Andrew Pollack

Vice President

Andrew is a Senior in the Gabelli School of Business studying marketing and sports business. He discovered his passion for analytics in high school and hopes to grow and share this interest with the club. In his time at Fordham, he has interned with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Double-A Affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays) and New Hampshire Motor Speedway, a NASCAR track near his hometown. Andrew’s favorite sports movies include Moneyball (2011) and Draft Day (2014).

Vanessa Kosuda

Chief Marketing Officer

Vanessa is a Sophomore at the Gabelli School of Business from New Jersey. Growing up, Vanessa lived in a sports-oriented family. Every summer she would go to Yankee games and on Sundays she is sitting watching football games with her twin brother and dad. Vanessa also grew up playing softball at a competitive level and played all 4 years of high school on the varsity team. Since retiring she has since learned to look at sports from an analytical perspective and has fallen in love with it. She is excited to bring new and exciting content to the club and make it a fun and exciting experience!

Matthew McNamara

Matt is a Junior from Staten Island, NY majoring in Finance at the Gabelli School of Business. He is a passionate Yankees, Knicks, and Jets fan with a particular interest in baseball research and the advanced metrics driving the game. He’s excited to get to know new members and looks forward to an awesome year with the club.

Brogan DiCerto

Chief Growth Officer

Brogan is a Sophomore from New York City, and plans to major in Business Administration. A lifelong Yankees, Giants, and Knicks fan, his passion for sports has always been tied to analytics, especially baseball. Looking ahead, he hopes to attend law school and ultimately work for a Major League Baseball team. Brogan joined the club with the goal of making it the best experience possible for members, particularly by bringing in engaging speakers to share their insights. A fun fact: he is a second generation ram, as both of his parents are proud Fordham alumni (Class of 1990 and 1992).

Bradley Birne

Treasurer

Bradley is a junior from Long Island, NY studying Political Science and will be pursing his Juris Doctor following graduation. He is an avid Giants, Knicks, and Mets fan. His passion for watching and talking sports inspired him to join the club his freshman year and is now the Treasurer for the Executive Board. He is excited for a fantastic year!

Matthew Couch

Head of Baseball Research

Matthew is a junior from Cresskill, NJ pursuing a degree in Applied Accounting and Finance at the Gabelli School of Business. A dedicated Yankees, Knicks, and Jets fan, he has always been interested in the ways analytics can deepen the understanding of the game. He currently works with the Fordham Baseball team and will be joining SNY this fall to further his experience in the sports industry. As the Head of Baseball Research, Matthew is excited to continue strengthening the club’s relationship with Fordham Baseball while finding new ways to grow the club and advance its work in sports analytics.

James Cutajar

Head of Basketball Research

James Cutajar is a current senior at FCRH. He is from Long Island and is majoring in Communication and Culture with a concentration in Media Studies. Sports has always been a passion for James which is why he has been part of the society since his freshman year. Loves group discussions on baseball, football but primarily basketball and he is a lifelong Knicks fan. At Fordham, James is a current student manager for the Men’s basketball team. James is very excited in his newly created role as Head of Basketball Research and cannot wait for a fantastic year with both members and the E-Board!

Michael Seminack

Sophomore Liaison

Mike, a sophomore from Philadelphia, PA, is planning to major in Applied Accounting and Finance. Growing up a massive Philly sports fan, he lives and dies with every Phillies pitch and Eagles down. His interest in sports analytics began after watching the film Moneyball (2011), and his fascination has since expanded to include football and soccer. As a diehard Liverpool fan, and soccer fan in general, he hopes to introduce the analytical side of soccer to the club's members. Mike joined the club during his freshman year and is honored to serve on the E-Board this year. A fun fact: his favorite movie is Field of Dreams (1989).
